Williams announces open season on Transco system

Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corp., a unit of Tulsa-based Williams Cos., is holding an open season for interested shippers until Feb. 13 for firm transportation service of as much as 150 MMcfd of natural gas capacity on its natural gas pipeline system, following completion of its central New Jersey expansion.

HOUSTON, Jan. 26 -- Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corp., a unit of Tulsa-based Williams Cos., is holding an open season for interested shippers until Feb. 13 for firm transportation service of as much as 150 MMcfd of natural gas capacity on its natural gas pipeline system, following completion of its central New Jersey expansion.

Transco expects new service to be available on the expansion in November 2005, assuming Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approval.
