HOUSTON, May 11 – Tri-Valley Corp., Bakersfield, Calif., has a plan to reactivate or drill as many as 27 wells on the Claflin lease in the Racetrack Hill area of Edison field in Kern County 11 miles east of Bakersfield by the end of 2010.
Two zones at 650-750 ft contain 2.3 million bbl of gross proved reserves, of which the company’s share is 2 million bbl to its 87.5% net revenue interest.
Tri-Valley has reactivated five wells, will restart two more wells by the end of June, and plans to drill 20 new wells to exit 2010 at gross production of 400 b/d of oil. Cyclic steam injection is to start into several wells by the end of May.
