Daybreak Oil & Gas Inc., Spokane, Wash., said the Dyer Creek 67X-11 well on its East Slopes project area in Kern County, Calif., is being completed after encountering 10 ft of oil pay in Vedder sand at 2,284 ft.

– Daybreak Oil & Gas Inc., Spokane, Wash., said the Dyer Creek 67X-11 well on its East Slopes project area in Kern County, Calif., is being completed after encountering 10 ft of oil pay in Vedder sand at 2,284 ft.

Daybreak, with 41.67% interest in the project area, has identified three development locations.

Earlier in October, the Ball 1-11 well cut 15 ft of oil pay in Vedder at 2,350 ft. Last January, the Bear-2 came on production at 50 b/d of oil from Vedder at 2,104-38 ft.

The Sunday 4H horizontal well encountered 375 ft of horizontal iol pay in the 20-ft vertical Vedder section. And the Black-1 exploratory well found 20 ft of oil pay in Vedder at 2,141-61 ft.

The company has more than 22,000 acres under lease and a seismic option on 14,000 more acres.
