HOUSTON, Nov. 8 – ATP Oil & Gas Corp., Houston, is moving a platform rig to the slot to drill the next well at its 100% owned Telemark Hub in the US Gulf of Mexico.

ATP completed a second well at the hub, Mississippi Canyon Block 941 A-1, formerly the MC 941-3, in early October 2010. During October’s production cycle, the well averaged 8,200 b/d of oil equivalent, 86% oil, and it exited the month at 12,200 boe/d, 86% oil.

ATP drilled the third and fourth wells to 12,000 ft in 2009. The target depth for each is 20,000 ft.
