Apco Argentina changes name, widens scope

HOUSTON, July 15 -- Shareholders of Apco Argentina Inc., Tulsa, approved a name change to Apco Oil & Gas International Inc., reflecting a wider company footprint in South America.
Apco opened an office in Colombia in 2008 to search for investment opportunities. Its main oil and gas production business is in Argentina.
