Wyoming: NDB Energy to pursue Niobrara play

NDB Energy Inc., Houston, completed the acquisition of private Armada Oil Inc., which has interests in the Niobrara play in southern Wyoming’s Laramie and Hanna basins.

NDB Energy Inc., Houston, completed the acquisition of private Armada Oil Inc., which has interests in the Niobrara play in southern Wyoming’s Laramie and Hanna basins.

Armada has interests in Carbon County that include a Niobrara and Casper formation project near infrastructure. The company has acquired 1,280 acres, engineering data, and 2D seismic and has an option to buy an additional 23,700 acres.

Previous well control indicates Niobrara potential, and the acreage has deeper conventional potential in the Tensleep formation.
