Noble Energy spuds wildcat on Eugene Island Block 317

HOUSTON, May 20 -- Noble Energy Inc., Houston, recently spudded a well on a deep shelf prospect in the Gulf of Mexico. The well, on Eugene Island Block 317, is designed to drill to 18,500 ft TD.
Noble Energy is the operator with a 66.67% working interest, and Spinnaker Exploration Co., Houston, owns 33.33%.
