Linn Energy, Quantum complete AcqCo deal

Linn Energy LLC, affiliate LinnCo LLC, and Quantum Energy Partners have signed definitive agreements to fund the acquisition and development of oil and gas properties through an alliance, QL Energy I LLC, for which they signed preliminary agreements earlier this year (OGJ Online, Mar. 14, 2015).

Quantum agreed to an initial commitment of $1 billion to the alliance, also called AcqCo.

Linn will be able to participate in all acquisitions with working interests of 15-50% and will manage AcqCo assets.
