Mehren named head of Wintershall

Mario Mehren, a member of the board of executive directors of Wintershall Holding GMBH for exploration and production Russia, North Africa, and South America, has been named president of parent company BASF’s Oil & Gas Division, becoming head of Wintershall.

He succeeds Rainer Seele, who will become chief executive officer of OMV AG on July 1 (OGJ Online, Mar. 30, 2015).
