SUBMERGED TURRET LOADING SYSTEM EYED FOR FULMAR

Shell U.K. Exploration & Production will install in the U.K. North Sea's Fulmar oil field the world's first commercial submerged turret loading (STL) system. Shell is replacing the existing Fulmar floating storage unit (FSU) tanker with the new design that employs a new purposebuilt tanker.
