Perenco Vietnam signs production sharing contract for Block 15-1

The 25-year agreement enables Perenco to approve the final investment decision for the flagship Phase 2B development project of Su Tu Trang gas and condensate field, it said.

Perenco Vietnam, part of the Perenco Group, and its partners in Block 15-1 signed a new production sharing contract (PSC) with Vietnam.

The 25-year agreement enables Perenco to approve the final investment decision for the flagship Phase 2B development project of Su Tu Trang gas and condensate field, which aims to deliver 125 MMscfd of gas over a period of 7 years to support Vietnam’s domestic market, the company said in a release late last week.

Perenco has been operating in Vietnam since 2012. The company holds Perenco Vietnam is instrumental in Block 15-1, the second largest oil and gas block in Vietnam and holds a participation in the Nam Con Son pipeline.
