Woodside lets contract extension to Worley in support of onshore assets, Western Australia

Worley will provide brownfield engineering and procurement services to the Karratha gas plant and King Bay supply base and the Pluto LNG plant.

Woodside Energy Ltd. has let a 2-year extension to Worley Ltd. to continue support of onshore assets in Australia. 

With the extension to a nonbinding frame agreement, Worley will provide brownfield engineering and procurement services to the Karratha gas plant and King Bay supply base (operated by Woodside for and on behalf of the North West Shelf Project joint venture), and the Pluto LNG plant (operated by Woodside Burrup Pty Ltd. for and on behalf of the Pluto joint venture).

Worley will continue to provide project management, front-end engineering, detailed design, procurement, and commissioning services for onshore brownfield projects required by Woodside during this period.

Worley has provided engineering services to Woodside under a variety of contracts for over 20 years. Service work for this particular agreement began in 2018.
