Cairn Energy names engineering and operations director

Cairn Energy PLC has appointed Philip Tracy as engineering and operations director, effectively immediately.

HOUSTON, Feb. 17 -- Cairn Energy PLC has appointed Philip Tracy as engineering and operations director, effectively immediately.

Tracy is chairman of Cairn Energy India Pty Ltd. and also currently serves as project director for Cairn's activities in Rajasthan.
