HOUSTON, Sept. 3 -- Houston-based oil and natural gas information service IHS Energy announced that it has acquired Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), an oil, gas, and energy consultancy based in Cambridge, Mass.
Daniel Yergin, CERA chairman, will become a member of the executive leadership of IHS Energy and will continue to serve as chairman of CERA.
IHS Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of IHS Group, a privately held company.
