Apache makes executive appointments

Apache Corp., Houston, reported the promotions of John Christmann to vice-president, business development, and Kregg Olson to vice-president, corporate reservoir engineering.

HOUSTON, Jan. 14 -- Apache Corp., Houston, reported the promotions of John Christmann to vice-president, business development, and Kregg Olson to vice-president, corporate reservoir engineering.

Christmann joined Apache in 1997 and served in various business development positions. Most recently, he served as production manager, Gulf Coast region. Previously, he was employed by Houston-based independent Vastar Resources Inc., now a part of BP PLC.

Olson started working for Apache in 1992. He has served in various corporate reservoir engineering positions. He has served as director, technical services, since 1995. Olson previously worked for Grace Petroleum Corp.

Separately, Apache reported that Lisa Stewart, executive vice president, business development and exploration and production services, has resigned from the company to work for Houston-based El Paso Corp. as its president, production and nonregulated operations.
