Total SA is increasing its investment in energy management and renewable energy.

Total SA is increasing its investment in energy management and renewable energy.

It is acquiring GreenFlex, Paris, which “combines data intelligence and equipment management and financing to help clients manage their energy consumption efficiently,” according to a news release.

Terms weren’t disclosed.

Separately, Total agreed to acquire an indirect interest of 23% in EREN Renewable Energy, Paris, which produces electrical power from renewable energy, by subscribing to a capital increase of €237.5 million.

The agreement includes the possibility of Total’s acquiring control of EREN RE after 5 years.
