Bois d'Arc president assumes CEO role

Bois d'Arc Energy said Gary Blackie, company president, will take on the additional duties of CEO.

HOUSTON, Dec. 4 -- Bois d'Arc Energy Inc., Houston, said Gary Blackie, company president, will take on the additional duties of chief executive officer.

Blackie succeeds Wayne Laufer, who retired from the company Nov. 30. Laufer remains a member of the board and is retained to provide consulting services to the company for 12 months.
