Aker Solutions,
Oslo, has appointed Leif Borge acting president and Oyvind Eriksen acting CEO, replacing Pres. and CEO Simen Lieungh until a successor can be recruited. Borge is Aker Solutions CFO. Eriksen is president and CEO of parent Aker ASA Group. Lieungh took over the helm of Aker Solutions forerunner Aker Kvaerner ASA in early 2008, coming back to the company following a stint at Arne Blystad AS. Prior to that he had held several positions at Aker Kvaerner, including executive vice-president of field development. He started his career with Aker Kvaerner and had been with the company 22 years. Lieungh is a graduate of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
