ENI SpA subsidiary Nigerian Agip Exploration has signed another a short-term extension with BW Offshore for use of the Abo FPSO for work offshore Nigeria.
The FPSO has oil processing capacity of 44,000 b/d, gas handling capacity of 48.4 MMscfd, water injection capacity of 33,000 b/d, and storage capacity of 940,000 bbl. The vessel has been under contract with NAE since Abo oil field began production in 2003 and has been extended numerous times by the operator.
The new contract extension runs until July 31, 2023.
