Al Dhafra Petroleum lets contract for Abu Dhabi work

Al Dhafra Petroleum let a 2-year field maintenance services contract extension to Petrofac Ltd. to provide specialist personnel for maintenance and support at Haliba field onshore on Abu Dhabi’s southeast border.

Al Dhafra Petroleum let a 2-year field maintenance services contract extension to Petrofac Ltd. to provide specialist personnel for maintenance and support at Haliba field onshore on Abu Dhabi’s southeast border.

Haliba potentially holds 199 MMboe recoverable oil and condensate reserves and 1.1 billon bbl estimated original oil in place (OGJ Online, July 3, 2019).

Al Dhafra Petroleum is a joint venture of Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) and a combine of Korea National Oil Corp. and GS Energy. ADNOC owns 60% of the joint venture. KNOC and GSE hold 40%.

Al Dhafra is operator at Haliba.
