Global Petroleum ups offshore Namibia resource estimates

Global Petroleum Ltd. updated estimates of prospective resources for PEL0094 (Block 2011A), offshore Namibia, following interpretation of 2D seismic data.

Additional prospective resources, east of PEL0094, consist of seven new leads with 2,048 million bbl oil total unrisked gross prospective resources (best estimate). Pre-existing prospects, Marula and Welwitschia Deep, contain a total of 881 million bbl, marking 2,929 million bbl total unrisked gross prospective resources on the license.

Global is operator of the license with 78% working interest (OGJ Online, Apr. 9, 2020).
