Decommissioning work on Perenco UK Ltd.’s unmanned Pickerill platform in UKCS Block 48/11 continues as the second skidding operation with the Pickerill B topside removal has been completed, service provider Petrodec said in an Oct. 1 release.

Topside removal of the Pickerill A unmanned platform was completed in June (OGJ Online, June 16, 2020).

Like Pickerill A, Pickerill B was plugged and abandoned prior to topside removal using the Energy Endeavour vessel. The Pickerill B topside is en route to Vlissingen harbor in the Netherlands where it will be dismantled.
