Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd. spudded a well in Teal West field in Block 21/24d in the Anasuria Cluster of the Central North Sea.
This well intersected oil and gas-bearing formations. Preliminary subsurface data from the well indicates that Teal West’s Proven and Probable (2P) oil and gas reserves are expected to exceed the initial estimate of 3.4 MMboe.
The drilling program is expected to be completed in December 2025. First oil from Teal West is expected in mid-2026.
The Anasuria Cluster lies in 94 m of water and is an existing and producing asset that includes Teal West field. Fluids from Teal West production will be tied back to the Anasuria FPSO.
Hibiscus Petroleum is operator and owns 100% of Teal West.
