HOUSTON, Sept. 23 – Gabon’s Ministry of Mines will kick off its 2010 licensing round Oct. 27 at a conference in Libreville.

The country offers 46 offshore blocks, many of which are believed to be prospective for hydrocarbons in presalt formations. CGG Veritas is Gabon’s partner in the 10th license round.
