OMV Norge AS has been granted consent by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) to drill exploration well 15/2-2 S (Eirik prospect), in North Sea production license (PL) 817.
The well will be drilled in Block 15/2 by Odfjell Drilling Ltd.’s Deepsea Yantai in 114 m of water. Consent also applies for drilling of side-tracks 15/2-2 A and 15/2-2 B.
OMV is operator at PL 817 (50%) with partners Neptune Energy Norge AS (30%) and Source Energy AS (20%).
