Equinor starts production at Bacalhau field offshore Brazil
Equinor is now producing oil and gas from Bacalhau field in Brazil's Santos basin presalt. The field is estimated to hold over 1 billion boe recoverable reserves.

Equinor is operator at Bacalhau with 40% interest. Partners are ExxonMobil 40%, Petrogal Brasil 20%, and Pré-sal Petróleo SA (government company, PSA manager).
