EOG delivers first gas from Mento offshore Trinidad

EOG Resources Trinidad Ltd. (EOG) delivered first gas from the Mento development offshore southeast Trinidad in Columbus basin. The drilling campaign for the remaining seven gross wells on the platform will now begin, partner bp Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) said in a release May 29.
The Mento project has an attended wellhead platform with well testing capability tied back to the Pelican platform. The project includes 12 development wells, including 3 exploration tails.
Mento is a 50/50 joint venture between operator EOG Resources Trinidad and bpTT.
