Crescent Point Energy Corp., Calgary, has once again shut-in its Kaybob Duvernay production due to the ongoing Alberta wildfires.
A portion of this production was reactivated last week but changing wildfire conditions have moved Crescent Point to temporarily shut back in the remainder of the 45,000 boe/d of production in the area as a precautionary measure, the company said in an update May 16 (OGJ Online, May 12, 2023).
No damage has been reported to the company's assets.
