Azule Energy lets pipe contract for Greater PAJ offshore development project

Azule Energy has let a pipe contract to Vallourec for the Greater PAJ development project in Blocks 31 and 31/21 offshore Angola.

Vallourec will supply more than 26,000 tons of seamless carbon steel line pipes, representing about 210 km of pipeline, including advanced solutions with heavy thermal insulation coating. The pipe will be used for production lines, service lines, water injection lines, and gas export lines.

Deliveries associated with this order will begin in July 2027 and continue through December 2027.

Greater PAJ is about 200 km offshore Angola in 1,500 to 2,000 m of water. The project brings together five offshore fields across Palas, Astraea, and Juno in Block 31 and Urano and Dione in Block 31/21.

Azule Energy is equally owned by Eni SPA and bp PLC and is operator of the Greater PAJ Project with partners Sonangol EP and Equinor ASA.
