Lukoil claimed a Baltic Sea length record for one of two extended-reach wells drilled this year from an onshore cluster pad to develop offshore D41 oil field.
One of the wells has a borehole length of 7,947 m with a horizontal section of 616 m.
The other well has a length of 7,417 m and a horizontal section of 439 m.
Lukoil estimates D41 recoverable reserves at 2.003 million tonnes.
