PETROCORP STEPS UP WILDCAT PACE IN THAILAND

New Zealand's Petrocorp Exploration Ltd. is stepping up exploratory drilling in Central Thailand after finding oil and gas in its onshore concession there. Petrocorp 1 Bo Rang flowed 5.5 MMcfd of gas from pay at 2,113-42 ft 6 miles east of the town of Wichian Buri in Petchabun province. Total depth was 5,512 ft. Petrocorp has suspended the well and plans further testing of the Block SW 1 gas strike, the first in the area.
