Shell Upstream Namibia BV, a Shell PLC subsidiary, has let a contract to Northern Ocean Ltd. for Deepsea Bollsta for work offshore Namibia.
The contract is expected to begin in the middle of fourth-quarter 2022 and has an estimated firm duration of 12 months plus one 6-month option. The rig’s operations manager, Odfjell Drilling Ltd., has started reactivation activities and mobilization preparation.
