Invictus Energy Ltd. has executed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Exalo Drilling SA to drill the Muzarabani-1 exploration well with an additional exploration well option for the Caboro Bassa project, Zimbabwe. A binding rig agreement is expected to be signed in the new year, and the first well is scheduled to spud in May 2022.

Seismic data from the CB21 seismic survey is being processed and interpreted to refine well locations and design. Under the MOU Invictus must exercise the option for an additional well by Feb. 15, 2022.

Exalo Rig #202 has been selected for the program. The rig is currently drilling in Tanzania and will be mobilized to Zimbabwe once that program is complete.

The Caboro Bassa project encompasses the Muzarabani prospect, an 8.2 tcf and 247 million bbl liquids rich conventional gas-condensate target.

Invictus Energy is operator at Caboro Bassa (80%) via its subsidiary Geo Associates (Private) Ltd.
