Vår Energi AS has been granted consent by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway to drill an exploration well in Block 7122/6 (Rødhette prospect) in Barents Sea production license (PL) 901.

Well 7122/6-3 S will be drilled by the Scarabeo 8 drilling rig in 427 m of water and is expected to take a minimum of 25 days.

Vår Energi is operator at PL 901 with partners Equinor Energy AS (30%) and Concedo AS (20%).
