Aker BP anticipates quarter-on-quarter production decrease on planned maintenance activities

Aker BP expects to report average production for third-quarter 2024 of 414,700 boe/d, a decrease compared with the previous quarter, primarily due to planned maintenance activities at several fields.

The company’s average net production in second-quarter 2024 was 444,100 boe/d.

The preliminary report released Oct. 14 said net volume sold was 391,300 boe/d due to an underlift in the quarter. 

The operator will publish its report third-quarter 2024 report on Oct. 30.
