Shell UK lets drilling contract for Stena Don MODU

Shell UK Ltd. has let a contract for the Stena Don mobile offshore drilling unit to Stena drilling for work in the UKCS.

Shell UK Ltd. has let a contract for the Stena Don mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU) to Stena drilling for work in the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS).

Activities will include a combination of plugging and abandonment work as well as development well drilling.

Work is expected to begin in second-quarter 2023 for a firm scope of 365 days with an option to extend the contract for up to an additional 1-year period in direct continuation from the firm scope.
