ConocoPhillips has let a contract to Icon Offshore for use of the Icon Caren jack up drilling rig for work offshore Sarawak, Malaysia.
The contract—valued at $9.6 million—is for three firm wells and one option.
The 400-ft water depth rig, formerly known as Perisai Pacific 101, was acquired by Icon from Perisai Petroleum Teknologi in October 2020.
