Gary C. Hanna, chairman of Rosehill Resources Inc., Houston, also will serve as interim president and chief executive officer of the company and its sole subsidiary, Rosehill Operating Co. LLC, until the search for another president and chief executive officer is complete.
Hanna succeeds J.A. Townsend who announced his retirement in April (OGJ Online, Dec. 20, 2016).
Hanna previously served as the chief executive officer of KLR Energy between September 2015 and April 2017. He is currently the board chairman of Energy XXI Gulf Coast Inc.
