Townsend to lead newly formed Rosehill Resources

JA Townsend will serve as chief executive officer of the newly created Rosehill Resources, a Delaware basin operator.

The new firm will result from the merger of Tema Oil and Gas Co., where Townsend has been president since 2008, and KLR Energy Acquisition Corp. (OGJ Online, Dec. 20, 2016).

His 13 years at Tema began when he joined the firm as vice-president of operations. He previously was president of Equitable Resources Inc., now EQT Corp., and chief executive officer of Camelot Oil and Gas Co. He has more than 35 years of industry experience.
