YPF adding delayed coker at La Plata refinery

YPF SA, Argentine subsidiary of Repsol SA of Spain, has let a contract to Foster Wheeler AG for a 28,000-b/sd delayed coking unit at its 189,000-b/cd La Plata refinery.

-- YPF SA, Argentine subsidiary of Repsol SA of Spain, has let a contract to Foster Wheeler AG for a 28,000-b/sd delayed coking unit at its 189,000-b/cd La Plata refinery.

Foster Wheeler will handle detailed engineering, procurement services, and support to construction and plant start-up.

Currently the La Plata refinery has 25,000 b/d of delayed coking capacity.
