Crosstex NGL Pipeline will have a preliminary design capacity of at least 70,000 b/d to Eunice, with a smaller amount available to Riverside. Crosstex is completing engineering studies, pipeline routing work, and environmental permitting for the project and expects the pipeline to enter service first-quarter 2013.

Crosstex will expand its Eunice NGL fractionation facilities to 55,000 b/d from 15,000 b/d in conjunction with building this pipeline, raising its interconnected Louisiana fractionation capacity to about 97,000 b/d.

The company has entered into a long-term ethane sales agreement with Williams Olefins LLC (OGJ Online, July 26, 2011).
