Summit Midstream Partners LP has agreed to develop, own, and operate an associated gas gathering and processing system servicing ExxonMobil Corp. subsidiary XTO Energy Inc.’s acreage in the northern Delaware basin in Eddy and Lea counties of New Mexico.

Summit will initially build a gathering and processing system with high- and low-pressure gathering and discharge pipelines, two compressor stations, and a 60-MMcfd cryogenic processing plant. The processing complex will be expandable to more than 600 MMcfd.

In addition to XTO, Summit expects the complex to service other nearby producers. The initial phase of the project is expected to be operational on or before June 1, 2018, at a total investment cost of $110 million.
