LONDON, Feb. 23 -- Chevron Corp. has let an engineering, procurement, and construction management contract to AMEC PLC for a revamp of the 90,000 b/d FCC unit at its 210,000-b/cd refinery in Pembroke, Wales.
AMEC said the project will improve reliability of the unit's main fractionator and improve product yields.
The complex refinery produces about 3.5 million gal/day of gasoline.
