Liquid Resources to commence ethanol production in Ohio

HOUSTON, July 11 -- Liquid Resources of Ohio LLC, Medina, Ohio, reported Wednesday that it has purchased a facility in Medina, Ohio, and plans to convert it to an ethanol production facility, the first in Ohio. The company will collect waste liquids from beverage and other manufacturers for conversion into fuel-grade ethanol.

The company has entered into a contract with Cargill Inc. to distribute Liquid Resources' entire ethanol output.

Liquid Resources' founders launched the company in 2002.
