NextDecade contractor signs ABB for Rio Grande Phase 1 work
NextDecade Corp. contractor Bechtel Energy Inc. has signed ABB to deliver integrated automation, electrical, and digital solutions for Phase 1 of the Rio Grande LNG plant (RNLG Phase 1) in Brownsville, Tex.
NextDecade Corp. contractor Bechtel Energy Inc. has signed ABB to deliver integrated automation, electrical, and digital solutions for Phase 1 of the 27 million-tonne/year Rio Grande LNG plant (RNLG Phase 1) in Brownsville, Tex.
Bechtel is undertaking construction of RGLNG Phase 1 under an engineering, procurement, and construction contract (OGJ Online, May 28, 2019).
RGLNG Phase 1 includes three liquefaction trains and supporting infrastructure. When fully operational, Phase 1 of the LNG plant is expected to produce 17.6 million tonnes/year (tpy) of LNG.
