HOUSTON, Oct. 25 -- SUEZ LNG Trading SA of France has signed two 20-year charter agreements with Bergesen Worldwide Gas ASA for a pair of LNG carriers to deliver Yemen LNG to North America.

The vessels, each of which will have a capacity of 156,100 cu m, are scheduled for delivery from South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. in 2009.

LNG deliveries will begin in 2009 from a liquefaction plant in Yemen under construction near Bal Haf on the Gulf of Aden. Production is to begin by yearend 2008.

SUEZ LNG signed a 2.5-million tonne/year contract with Yemen LNG in August for deliveries to its terminal at Everett, Mass., and other North American regasification facilities.
