Total lets contract for Indonesian gas line

Total Indonesia awarded South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries an $86 million turnkey contract for a 55-km subsea pipeline from Sisi and Nubi natural gas field off East Kalimantan, Indonesia, to onshore facilities.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 1 -- Total Indonesia awarded South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries an $86 million turnkey contract for a 55-km subsea pipeline from Sisi and Nubi natural gas field off East Kalimantan, Indonesia, to onshore facilities.

The project, to be completed by 2007, includes engineering, procurement, installation, and precommissioning.
