Enbridge Gas Inc., a unit of Enbridge Inc., has launched a binding open season for gas storage services at its Dawn, Ont., underground storage facility in Canada.
The Dawn storage site provides shippers with direct access to North America's major supply basins, including Appalachia and Western Canadian sedimentary basin, providing supply routes from western Canada, mid-continent, Appalachia and the Rockies, as well as the ability to serve markets in the mid-west, eastern Canada, and the US Northeast.
Shippers may submit bids of up to 1 bcf for a term of 2 years or longer for storage service starting as early as Apr. 1.
The open season runs through 2:00 p.m. EST on Jan. 21.
