Russell Bee

Russell is the Lead Product Architect responsible for the Maximo Oil and Gas and Maximo HSE products. He has 17 years of experience working with the enterprise asset management product. Russell works closely with the IBM Oil & Gas customer base to identify common customer requirements and build these into product. He is also a member of the Maximo Design Governance Board. An Engineer by training, Russell spent 10 years in the aerospace industry working on aircraft systems design before entering the oil and gas industry working for Kennedy and Donkin on the design and implementation of plant control systems. He then moved into programme management before becoming Engineering Manager for Oil and Gas. Russell has a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering and MSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Salford. He has an MBA from the Manchester Business School where he is also a Visiting Fellow lecturing on the MBA and Computer Science post graduate programs.
