Steven Loranger

Steven is the worldwide GM for the channel financing business unit of IBM Global Financing (IGF), the world’s largest IT financier. Operating in 64 countries, IGF’s Commercial Financing business provided 41 billion USD of inventory and accounts receivable financing last year to distributors and resellers for IT products from IBM and other suppliers. Steven is a member of the IGF Global Leadership Council which includes our top worldwide executives within the Division and sets both operational focus and strategic direction. Prior to assuming current role, Steven was GM of the IGF business for Growth Market Unit (GMU), which comprised all emerging markets globally and was based in Shanghai, China and then Singapore. Before joining IBM in 2002, Steven was with Arthur Andersen in NYC followed by Ernst & Young in Atlanta. Steven has an MBA with concentration in Finance & Accounting from the New York University Stern School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.
